About us
Who Runs GAF?
The George and Audrey Foundation (GAF) is a family-run Community Interest Company founded by wife-and-wife team Sarah and Lori Parker-Morrison. Inspired by the values of Sarah’s grandparents, George and Audrey, the foundation is dedicated to creating a healthier, happier, and more connected community.
Sarah, an experienced personal trainer and former owner of the award-winning Little Box Gym, champions accessible fitness for all, particularly for disabled individuals and young people. Lori, a qualified therapeutic counsellor, is passionate about making emotional and mental health support available to everyone, not just those who can afford it. Together, they’ve created GAF as a welcoming home for holistic community wellbeing, where physical health, mental health, and compassionate support come together at the heart of the community.

What is GAF?
The George and Audrey Foundation CIC (GAF) is a not-for-profit community wellbeing hub in Manchester. We offer fitness, mental health, and community support, creating a welcoming space for everyone, online, outdoors, and in the heart of the community.
Our GAF is founded on the belief that health is about more than just exercise and physical fitness, it’s also about connection, mental wellbeing, and feeling like you belong. So we want to build a space where everyone, regardless of background, age, ability, or income, can access support for their holistic wellbeing.

Our Values

One open door
Our GAF is inclusive. We welcome people of all backgrounds, abilities, and identities. We want our services to be accessible and non-judgmental, breaking down barriers to health and wellbeing.

One family
We believe in the power of connection and belonging. GAF is not just a fitness business - it's a home and community where people can come to feel supported, seen, and valued, just as they are.

One you
We care about your holistic wellbeing. We see health as so much more than just physical fitness. By offering services for mental, emotional, and physical health, we support your whole self.

One heart
We lead with empathy and compassion. GAF is led by people who care. We want to listen, respond, and work alongside our service users to meet their needs with dignity and understanding, no matter where you are at.

One step at at time
We believe in progress over perfection and meet people where they are. We know that growth takes time, and we want to empower individuals to take ownership of their health journey, no matter where they’re starting from.

One fair start
We believe in equity and are committed to reducing health inequalities for our community. We work to ensure that those with the greatest needs are prioritised through subsidised and free-to-access services. No one is left behind at GAF.
