Personal Training

At GAF, we believe that movement is for everyone. Whether you are taking your first steps into fitness, rebuilding your confidence after injury or illness, or looking to change up you current training routine, our personal training sessions are designed to support you to move in a way that feels right for you.

 

Our approach is inclusive, personalised and encouraging. There is no intimidation, no pressure, just heartfelt, genuine support to help you feel stronger, healthier and more confident in your body.

Personal training services

We offer flexible options to suit your needs and goals:

Individual sessions are from £20 per session or from £15 when you book a 10 session package. Reduced-fee sessions and packages are available on a sliding scale (where funding allows and eligibility is met).

Sessions are held in local parks and outdoor spaces. For those who prefer more privacy or need extra support, we also offer sessions in your own home.

Meet our trainer

Hello! I'm Sarah, a personal trainer and fitness coach with over a decade of experience supporting people to feel stronger and move their bodies with confidence.

After working in commercial gyms, I founded Little Box Gym in 2013 with a mission to make fitness accessible to everyday people. I wanted to take away the anxiety and self-consciousness that can come from training in large, intimidating gym environments.​

I am particularly passionate about supporting underrepresented groups, and often work with disabled and/or neurodivergent young people to help them to find fun and joy in movement. I’m also a huge boxing fan and love incorporating it into client training plans for those who want to give it a go. Blending boxing with traditional and functional strength training creates a dynamic and enjoyable way to build strength, boost confidence, and release stress.

My goal is to make movement something people look forward to, not something they feel they should do. Everyone deserves to feel good in their body and to find movement that fits their life.

Sarah’s personal training style is rooted in understanding, encouragement, and empowerment. She knows that everyone’s starting point is different, and that progress isn’t just about numbers, it’s also about building confidence, learning balance and finding joy in movement.

Her approach is deeply personal and adaptable. She knows how important it is to meet each client where they are at, both physically and emotionally. Sarah takes the time to understand your goals, challenges, and motivations, creating a supportive environment where you can grow and achieve at your own pace.

​For Sarah, fitness isn’t about perfection. She believes movement should feel good, not daunting, and that exercise can be a source of strength, connection, and self-belief. Whether you’re stepping into a gym for the first time or returning after a break, she’ll guide you with compassion, knowledge, and a genuine commitment to helping you to thrive, in body and in mind.

Sarah believes there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to fitness. She takes the time to understand your goals, abilities, and comfort levels and builds a plan that meets you where you are and grows with you.

Yoga Class

Movement should feel good! Sarah creates varied, engaging workouts that keep things fresh and fun so clients look forward to their sessions and build consistency, confidence, and a genuine love for being active.

Track and Field Runner

Sarah knows that lasting change does not come from quick fixes. She'll help you to build sustainable habits and develop the tools and confidence to stay active beyond your sessions, so that movement can become a natural, lasting part of your life.
